June 10, 2012.  Asia launch of the first title of the Ancient China travel guide series: Ancient China: Villages, (UK). Launch events are planned in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.

April 18, 2012. 7pm.  The Current State of Chinese Fiction. Event at Blackwells bookstore, Oxford. April 16, 2012, 11.30am. Modern Chinese Masters UK launch at the  London Book Fair (UK). Modern Chinese Masters authors Li Er and Anni Baobei will appear with translator Nicky Harman and Make-Do founder Harvey Thomlinson at an event to launch the series. April 2012. UK launch of The Road of Others by Anni Baobei. The first English translation of three famous stories by Anni Baobei, one of China’s most acclaimed but myterious writers. Translations by Nicky Harman and Keiko Wu.

March 12th, 2012  Mina Hanbury-Tenison will be a guest at the Bookworm Chengdu Literary Festival.

March 18, 2012.  Li Er and his translator Martin Merz will appear at the Shanghai Literary Festival at “M” on the Bund.

February 2012.  UK launch of the Modern Chinese Masters series, with the first three titles by Jimmy Qi, Chen Xiwo and Li Er.

January 29-Feb 04, 2012. Macau “Script Road” Literature Festival. Make-Do authors Marvin Farkas and Jimmy Qi will be in attendance.

January 13, 2012. Marvin Farkas will deliver a talk about his memoir An Eastern Saga at the Helena May in Hong Kong.
